The Big Game Commercial Services Board proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 75 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with registered guide-outfitter contract requirements..
The public may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments by mail, fax, or e-mail to the division's Regulations Specialist. Public comment due no later than July 9, 2014, at 4:30 p.m.

In the interest of the state's wildlife resources, the Big Game Commercial Services Board adopts regulations governing the big game commercial service industry in Alaska.
The Board makes final licensing decision and takes disciplinary actions against persons who violate licensing laws.
The Big Game Commercial Services Board is staffed by the Division of Corporations, Business and Professional Licensing.
The Big Game Commercial Services Board consists of two licensed Registered Guide-Outfitters, two licensed Transporters, two private landholders, two public members, and one member from the Board of Game.
Board members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Legislature.
Important Note For Guides Regarding Drawing Hunt Permit Applications: Some hunts require a signed guide-client agreement before or at the time of drawing hunt permit applications. For these hunts, guides must have a current GUA registration on file for all or a portion of the area prior to the client applying for the drawing hunt permit.
